We're looking for a reliable, motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced, multi-family community. This role isn't just about fixing things — it's about making sure residents feel at home and operations run smoothly. From urgent repairs to preventative maintenance, your work will directly impact the quality of life for the people who live here.
What You'll Do:
Handle daily maintenance requests, work orders, and repairs in occupied and vacant units Prepare apartments for new move-ins — including painting, cleaning, and basic repairs Perform preventative maintenance on building systems, appliances, and HVAC (if certified) Respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently Assist with vendor coordination and ensure timely completion of contracted work Keep maintenance areas organized, safe, and compliant with all safety standards Work closely with property staff to prioritize and track maintenance needs Ensure all maintenance tasks are documented accurately in the property management system What You Bring to the
Table:
1+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repairs Excellent customer service HVAC certification is a plus (EPA Universal or Type II preferred) Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs independently Great time management and attention to detail Clear communication and a customer-first attitude Career Strategies' temporary population receives the following benefits: Medical health insurance available upon hire at full cost.
