Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative maintenance, as directed by the supervisor. Complete resident work orders in a timely fashion including diagnosing and repairing minor HVAC and appliance issues. Complete punch items for apartment turnover such as filter changes, lightbulb changes, minor cleaning and vendor followup for missed items. Assist with grounds care as necessary, such as emptying pet stations, trash cans, powerwashing the pool deck and furniture, painting doors, shampooing furniture. Consistently work cooperatively with residents, co-workers, vendors, families, consultant personnel, and other ancillary service providers EPA and CPO highly preferred although candidates with previous solid experience will still be strongly considered! High school diploma or GED Three to five years of painting/wallcovering experience in a residential setting Electrical and plumbing experience Proficiency in the English language enabling the employee to read, write, comprehend, and communicate simple instructions, correspondence, memos, etc. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community and on-call duties Vitality Living is an equal opportunity employer where you can Be You, Be Vibrant, and Belong.
