Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair work. This role requires a strong understanding of various maintenance practices, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. The Maintenance Mechanic will work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a safe and efficient environment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as needed. Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within specifications. Fabricate parts or components as required for repairs or upgrades. Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and materials used. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance . Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Strong logical reasoning skills to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Applicant must be willing to be on call with occasional after work hours and weekends. Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. Applicant must be trustworthy, independent minded and dependable. Applicant must have a valid driver's license and submit to an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) for evaluation as well as criminal history and drug test.
