Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing repairs, installations, inspections, and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new mechanical systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Operate company vehicles safely for equipment transportation or on-site service calls while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, parts used, and system performance for accountability and future reference. Collaborate with team members to lead small projects or assist with construction-related tasks when needed to support facility upgrades or expansions. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Proven service technician experience in maintaining kitchen equipment and other mechanical systems in commercial or industrial settings. Skilled in appliance installation, equipment repair, and routine maintenance operations (MRO). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or team members about technical issues. Ability to operate construction tools safely and effectively; experience with construction projects is a plus. Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior technicians or assisting in team coordination efforts.
