location: Cartersville, Georgia job type: Permanent salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Ensure mechanical and electromechanical equipment and systems are designed, installed, and maintained throughout the plantDevelop scopes of work and specifications for procurement and installation of equipment, materials, or partsResearch and analyze data such as equipment design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design and applicationUtilizes CAD software and other design and modeling tools to plan, develop, and improve mechanical parts or components Utilizes technical instruments to develop specifications for new parts, modifications, or prototypesCoordinate maintenance, and repair activities with production operations to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipmentEvaluate and recommend modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
Required Qualificaitons:
B.S degree in Mechanical EngineeringMust have at least one (1) year of production equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentCAD experienceProficiency in design and specification of mechanical components
Preferred:
Experience with hydraulics and/or steam applications qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 1 year of experience
