Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of sign installers during commercial signage projects, ensuring work is completed on time and to specifications. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions to accurately execute sign placements. Conduct electrical diagnostics on signage systems, troubleshooting issues related to wiring, lighting, and electrical components. Utilize mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment mechanics skills to operate lifts, scaffolding, and other machinery safely during installations. Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on signage equipment and structures to ensure longevity and optimal performance. Use technical tools such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and verify circuit integrity. Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, technical inspections, and repair activities for quality assurance. Qualifications Proven experience with electrical diagnostics, interpreting schematics, and working with technical drawings related to signage or electrical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with heavy equipment mechanics used in construction or sign installation. Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices for signage systems or similar industrial equipment. Ability to interpret technical schematics accurately and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively using tools like ohmmeters. Demonstrated technical proficiency in working with electrical components, wiring systems, and safety protocols. Prior leadership experience in a commercial installation or construction environment is preferred.
