Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical work techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other mechanical repairs to maintain the hotel's interior spaces and facilities equipment. Maintain plumbing systems through repair, replacement, and system maintenance tasks to prevent disruptions. Use hand tools, schematics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other technical resources to diagnose problems accurately and execute repairs efficiently. Oversee building interior maintenance projects including painting, carpentry, and general facilities upkeep to enhance guest experience. Lead or assist with maintenance operations involving HVAC system repair, electrical equipment repair, plumbing system maintenance, or other facilities-related tasks as needed. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including work performed on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, or mechanical equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of tools such as schematics and electrical testing devices like ohmmeters. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in building interior maintenance and facilities equipment upkeep. Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting electrical issues with schematics and electrical equipment repair techniques. Experience with HVAC system repair and maintenance to ensure climate control systems operate efficiently. Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair to address leaks, blockages, or system failures promptly. Ability to operate hand tools effectively for carpentry, painting (including residential painting), welding, and general repairs. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automated systems management is a plus. Knowledge of maintenance procedures involving schematics and technical manuals for various building systems.
