Job Description

SALARY BASED JOB, PAID EVERY 2 WEEKS.
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team! The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment. You'll be responsible for routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and responding to guest service requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry. Respond promptly to guest requests and maintenance calls in a courteous and professional manner. Conduct daily property walkthroughs and inspections of public spaces, guestrooms, equipment, and back-of-house areas. Complete preventative maintenance in guestrooms and public areas according to the hotel's schedule. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and mechanical rooms. Monitor and manage equipment efficiency. Work with the General Manager to ensure all equipment is functioning and safety standards are upheld. Maintain inventory of supplies and tools; report needs to management. Comply with all Hilton brand standards, OSHA regulations, and hotel policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training a plus. Prior experience in hotel or commercial maintenance preferred. Working knowledge of basic repair skills: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions. Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Hilton or hospitality experience HVAC or trade certification Expected hours: 40.0 per week
