Objectives:
(fundamental objectives for orientation of the holder of the position) Ensure the functions of the machine as well as the quality, output and safety of the machines in the entire production area including part of the tool making area
  • Ensure the machine availability
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement in production area thereby reducing the running costs
  • Reduction of the ongoing maintenance costs (preventive maintenance/predictive maintenance)
  • Fulfilling duties in pursuance with the company objectives for environmental, energy and quality policies
Duties:
(Important primary duties in logical order)
  • Correct errors and perform necessary repairs on presses, systems and machines daily (for extensive repairs, confer with the management of maintenance)
  • Perform maintenance and inspections on production machines/industrial trucks according to requirement (SAP)
  • Organize and supervise work performed by external companies
  • Modify and adjust machines and fixtures when production conditions are changed
  • Implementation of CIP-measures
  • Assist with facility maintenance/repairs when called upon
  • Participation in machine modifications as well as in the creation of specifications for the procurement of new machines
  • Conduct regular inspections according to specifications
  • Produce components, metals, structures and small fixtures
  • Feedback and documentation in SAP
  • Check and maintain the machine file
  • Assist Electrical personal when call upon
Competencies:

  • Access to all relevant programs (SAP, Office) and data in the work area
  • Professional managerial authority towards the employees in the production area
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the professional execution of assigned inspections and duties Environmental conditions of the workplace:
  • Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental regulations applicable to the workstation and workplace in the production area
  • Willing to work shifts and overtime
  • willing to adapt to the constant changes in daily work time.
Required training:
  • Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic (specialized in operating technology) or past work experience will be considered.
  • Valid license to operate a crane/forklift Professional experience:
  • Several years of experience in the professional field
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, work safety
  • Knowledge of the current welding procedures (e.g. electric
  • MIG-MAG-welding, TIG-welding, Brazing etc.)
  • Sound experience with MS Office Personal skills:
  • Willing to work shifts and overtime
  • willing to adapt to the constant changes in daily work time.
