Job Description
The City of Dublin is now accepting applications for a Water Treatment Plant Utilities Systems Maintenance Operator. This individual will perform skilled and technical work in the maintenance and operation of the City's Water Plant, Waste Treatment Plant, pumping stations and elevated storage tanks. This person will fill in as a plant operator as needed and perform emergency repairs during nights, weekends and holidays. Applicants must possess a Class III Water and Wastewater Operators License, as issued by the State of Georgia or the ability to acquire the same within one year of employment. A valid Georgia driver's license is required. Salary range is $42,463.67 - $65,818.68 annually based on experience and for an individual with both Water and Wastewater certification. Should you not have both Water and Wastewater Class III Certification, you will be paid according to your level of certification. An extensive fringe benefit package including health, dental and life insurance is also offered. The successful applicant must pass a drug screen.
