Metal Manufacturing We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support our evening production. You will ensure the reliability of specialized metal manufacturing machinery through a mix of reactive repairs and proactive preventive maintenance.Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot & Repair:
Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Technical Interpretation:
Utilize electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and PLC ladder logic.Systems Maintenance:
Manage conduit installation, copper soldering, and HVAC/refrigerant systems.CMMS Management:
Document work orders, parts usage, and hours via computerized systems.Collaboration:
Partner with production teams to calibrate equipment to manufacturing specs.Technical Skills & Qualifications Mechanical & Electrical:
Expert knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems and PLC troubleshooting/modifications.Specialized Skills:
Hands-on experience with HVAC, industrial wiring, and clutch/brake systems.Shift Independence:
Ability to work autonomously on late shifts with high urgency.Preferred:

Diagnose and fix integrated mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.Technical Interpretation:
Read and apply complex electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and PLC ladder logic.Systems Maintenance:
Install conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC), solder copper piping, and manage HVAC/refrigerant systems.CMMS Management:
Use computerized maintenance systems to document work orders, parts usage, and productivity hours.Collaboration:
Work alongside production teams to calibrate equipment and ensure all machinery meets manufacturing specs.Technical Skills & Qualifications Mechanical Mastery:
strong knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems, clutch/brake systems, and timing belt replacement/adjustment.Electrical Proficiency:
Ability to troubleshoot and make basic modifications to PLC ladder logic and handle industrial wiring.Specialized Repair:
Hands-on experience with HVAC systems and refrigerant handling.Shift Independence:
Proven ability to work autonomously on late shifts with a high sense of urgency.Background:
Experience in fabrication-heavy environments and failure analysis is preferred.
