Early Morning Shift Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Dietary Aide to join our nursing center team. The Dietary Aide plays an important role in providing nutritious meals and a pleasant dining experience for our residents while supporting dietary staff in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen and dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service to residents Serve meals in accordance with residents' dietary needs and physician-ordered diets Ensure proper portioning and presentation of food Assist residents as needed during meals with courtesy and respect Follow all sanitation, safety, and infection control guidelines Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and food service areas Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Stock supplies and assist with inventory as needed Work cooperatively with dietary staff, nursing, and leadership

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred Previous dietary or food service experience in a healthcare setting is a plus Knowledge of special diets (mechanical soft, pureed, diabetic, etc.) preferred Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment Compassionate, patient-focused attitude Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
