Floor Technician/Custodian
Job Description
Floor Technician/Custodian National Management Resources has provided facilities management services for over 40 years. We work in educational settings, including K-12 facilities, boarding schools, colleges, and universities all over the country. Competitive wages. We are looking for a Floor Technician to perform general floor care needs throughout the campus.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 5:00AM - 1:30PM (occassional nights/weekends may be required)Floor Technician/Custodian Benefits:

- Sweep, mop, and damp mop floors.
- Periodically cleans and/or polish floors using buffing machines if assigned.
- Strip or scrub and refinish floors if assigned.
- Vacuum, spot clean, or shampoo carpets as assigned.
- Clean vertical and horizontal surfaces that collect dust.
- Collect and transport refuse, clean and reline refuse containers with plastic bags.
- Wash sinks and other plumbing fixtures and replace disposables such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
- Dust, clean, and polish furniture.
- Utilize detergents, disinfectants, polishes, finishes, etc.
- Use floor machines, automatic scrubbers, wall washing equipment, waste collection equipment, etc.
- Wash walls and ceiling using wall-washing equipment if applicable.
- Other jobs functions as assigned.
Floor Technician/Custodian Qualifications:
Have a valid driver's license Lift up to 50 pounds Climb stairs Stand or walk for long periods of time. Stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.Floor Technician/Custodian Experience:
One year of Floor Tech experience. Passing a Drug Screening and Background Check is required for employment.Job Type:
