Pool Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and optimal operation of swimming pools through routine maintenance, cleaning, and equipment servicing. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with pool systems and tools. Duties Perform regular pool cleaning tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining water clarity Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems Diagnose mechanical issues and execute repairs using hand tools and power tools efficiently Maintain proper chemical balance by testing water parameters and adjusting treatments accordingly Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or replacements to ensure continuous operation Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system conditions Assist with seasonal start-up and shutdown procedures for pools to ensure safety and compliance Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or damage Communicate effectively with clients regarding service updates or issues requiring attention Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or pool technician with a solid understanding of pool maintenance procedures Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment repair and troubleshooting Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing processes Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members If you are passionate about maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning pools through expert service and technical skill, we encourage you to apply today.
