About the Role Top Dog Garage Doors is a veteran-owned residential garage door company serving Brookhaven, Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Decatur, Marietta, and the surrounding Metro Atlanta area. We're looking for an experienced Garage Door Technician who can step in and run calls independently from day one. If you've been installing and repairing residential garage doors and openers and you can diagnose a problem, quote the fix, and get it done without hand-holding — we want to talk to you now, and we're ready to pay for that experience. What You'll Earn Competitive hourly base pay of $20-$45/hour , based on your experience and skill level PLUS 5% commission on every job you complete — you earn on all your work, from the very first job, with no quotas or thresholds to hit first The more you produce, the more you make — your paycheck grows directly with your output Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided This Role Is Ideal for
You If You Can:
Run residential service and installation calls independently, start to finish Service and replace torsion and extension springs, cables, drums, rollers, tracks, and hardware safely and confidently Diagnose and repair opener problems and align safety sensors Quote repairs accurately and explain them clearly to customers Hit the ground running with minimal supervision New to Garage Doors? We'll still consider you if you bring strong mechanical aptitude and a real trade background — HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, low-voltage/security, or skilled handyman work — and you're eager to learn. We provide paid, hands-on training. Just know that direct garage door experience is our priority for this position. What You'll Do Install and replace garage doors, sections, and openers Repair and adjust springs, cables, drums, rollers, tracks, and related hardware Troubleshoot opener systems and safety sensors Perform tune-ups and preventative maintenance Deliver friendly, professional service in customers' homes Safely operate hand and power tools and lift heavy doors and equipment Keep your vehicle, tools, and job sites clean and organized What We're Looking For Direct residential garage door experience strongly preferred Ability to work independently and manage your own calls Valid driver's license and clean driving record (you'll drive a company vehicle) Able to lift heavy doors and equipment and comfortable working on ladders and at heights Dependable, on-time, with a strong customer-service attitude Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Why Top Dog As a veteran-owned business, we run on integrity, discipline, and taking care of our team.
