Maintenance Technician III 2nd
Shift:
40 Hours per week. Hours may differ during initial training period. Job Summary The Maintenance Technician maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Repairs and maintains plant machinery and equipment such as hydraulic presses, automated assembly equipment, injection molding equipment, PLC's, compressed air systems, pumps and facilities equipment. Able to troubleshoot complex equipment using PLC ladder logic, electrical and pneumatic schematics. Conducts predictive maintenance inspections using predictive technologies such as vibration analysis, ultrasonic, oil analysis and thermography. Able to provide mechanical and technical guidance and expertise to level 1 and level 2 technicians to continually improve the education, experience and skill set within the department (tech/coach/mentor). Flexibility to handle multiple and changing priorities. Experience Injection Molding a plus Education High school diploma or GED required post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate a plus Minimum Qualifications 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, electrical and PLC troubleshooting and repair Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to bend and stoop. Must be able to climb a ladder.
