Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities and manufacturing processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise across a variety of maintenance tasks, from electrical systems to mechanical repairs, in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be energized by solving complex problems, maintaining equipment, and contributing to a safe and efficient workplace. Your hands-on skills and leadership qualities will help keep our operations running smoothly while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust automated processes as needed. Conduct welding repairs and fabrications to maintain equipment integrity and safety standards. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and facility layouts to accurately diagnose issues. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks. Lead or supervise maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and tasks are completed efficiently. Assist with residential painting projects or other facility improvements as required. Support manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment reliability and assisting production teams with technical issues. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from internal teams or clients. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness across the facility. Skills Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, welding, or manufacturing environments. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and adjustments. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and facility diagrams accurately. Experience with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus but not required; flexibility for diverse maintenance tasks is essential. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
