Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Pay up to 40 per hour Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, repair or replace defective components, and maintain documentation for all maintenance activities. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and productivity of our equipment through effective maintenance practices. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using appropriate tools and techniques. Repair or replace defective components such as motors, belts, gears, or electrical wiring. Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacement of parts. Assist with mechanical installations as directed. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical problems on machinery. Interface with equipment operators and maintenance staff to identify equipment issues. Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to diagnose and repair problems. Install and service systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, communications, and process control systems. Support continuous improvement by suggesting ways to enhance equipment reliability and productivity. Adhere to all safety standards and wear necessary personal protective equipment. Essential Skills Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and understanding ladder logic. Ability to troubleshoot electronic systems ranging from 24V to 480V. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Experience with gears, shafts, rollers, bearings, and welding. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong technical troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems. Experience with PLCs and electrical systems up to 480V. Ability to understand and work with technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work the first shift from 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday, with every other weekend required once permanent. Initial contract work is Monday to Friday. Once permanent, work shifts alternate between 4 12-hour days in week one and 3 12-hour days in week two, with the opportunity for additional overtime. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Senoia, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
