Job Description
Position Summary As an Industrial Maintenance Technician C, the primary purpose is to assist in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the facility. Position Responsibilities Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs, and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers' expectations.
Ensure all equipment is operating effectively and efficiently.
Complete preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
Maintain all equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
Perform daily checks and basic troubleshooting of machinery issues.
Execute preventive maintenance procedures.(In case of absence of key personnel, the job will be filled by a trained employee) KPI Training Compliance Zero safety incidentsDaily Attainment of CPM (Canning) / Lbs. (Cook) targets against bottleneckMinimize DT below 5% each day (Combined operational & machine)Zero Quality IncidentsLabor Hours use efficiency. Essential Skills and Experience High School Diploma/GEDBasic understanding of mechanical and electrical systemsStrong Attention to detail and safety protocolsWillingness to learn and follow instructions.
Strong abilities in mathematics are a necessity.
Written and verbal communication skills required.
Strong desire to lead by example and follow directions. Preferred Relevant Skills and Experience Basic mechanical skillsProficient use of hand and power toolsStrong problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and teamworkAbility to follow technical instructions. Positions reporting to this person None Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is required to stand and walk and sit; use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this job. The employee is also regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment fluctuates from quiet to loud.
