Job Description

Maintenance Technician Looking for strong and eager maintenance technician to join an industry leading manufacturing company in Suwanee, Ga.

Shift:

Monday-Friday:

8:00am-5:30pm

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Assemble, fabricate, and install machinery components and equipment. Program and operate fabrication equipment. Follow all safety procedures. Operate electrical hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and electrical schematics.

Qualifications of Maintenance Technician:

Previous Maintenance experience. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics. Strong competence in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Experience programming machinery. Experience programming Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Ability to troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Knowledge of basic electrical/electronic circuits and wiring. Welding experience is preferred. Experience testing electrical systems using diagnostic tools. Experience with gearboxes and motors preferred.
