Are you a technician looking to expand your mechanical and electrical career? Or do you have some maintenance experience and want to grow in a stable, hands-on career? We're looking for a Maintenance Technician I to help maintain and repair equipment at our water and wastewater facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to work with pumps, motors, electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and industrial equipment while working alongside experienced maintenance professionals. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, bearings, seals, gearboxes, and electrical components. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery. Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls. Conduct inspections of pump stations and facility equipment. Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using tablets and computerized systems. Assist with facility upkeep and grounds maintenance as needed. Support safe and reliable operations that protect public health and the environment. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED. HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or industrial maintenance experience preferred. One year of related experience is a plus, but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Basic understanding of electrical systems and use of hand and power tools. Willingness to learn, work outdoors, and respond to emergency situations when needed. Why Join Us?
