Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This vital role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and operational tasks to maintain a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills, along with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical equipment, plumbing, and facilities equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters. Perform carpentry, painting, welding, plumbing system maintenance, and other handyman tasks to maintain the interior and exterior of the property. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems to optimize facility performance. Use hand tools, schematics, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems efficiently. Lead small maintenance projects or oversee contractors for specialized repairs while ensuring safety standards are met. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in accordance with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures. Respond promptly to guest requests related to facilities issues with professionalism and a focus on customer service excellence. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC system repair and building interior maintenance. Proficiency in electrical work including electrical equipment repair, wiring, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting with tools like ohmmeters. Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as general facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, welding, and plumbing repairs. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems. Ability to read technical schematics and operate hand tools effectively. Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and assist guests efficiently. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of MRO practices for maintaining facilities equipment over time. Pay:
From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week
