General Summary Perform highly diversified duties in industrial and facilities to maintain automotive production, process, and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Timely response to production line breakdown, resolve problems and issues in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Provide support in a variety of industrial or manufacturing technology skill areas including Electrical, Electronics, Hydraulics, Mechanical, Motor Controls/PLC, Pneumatics, Robotics, Welding, and other industrial processing systems. Conduct machine install and setup, problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair. Follow company safety policies and procedures, such as lock out tag out. Perform routine preventative maintenance of machinery as scheduled. Perform work in assigned area in plant operations. Comply with and promote company practices in the areas of SQECP (Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Cost, People). Collaborate with Team Members, Team Leader, Group Leader and/or other members of

management to coordinate product flow, reduce downtime, and provide effective countermeasures to breakdowns. Understand the KIA WAY and the

Georgia Production System and follow. Attend all required training as assigned. Support and encourage a professional Team Member work environment. Build and maintain good working relationships with Team Members. Interact with others to resolve quality issues; implement repair/containment procedures for repetitive quality defects; notify management and/or affected teams or departments in a timely manner as required. Be flexible in work to support continuous improvement activities that will ensure personal and company growth. Meet all other requirements as assigned. Qualifications & Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED Job-related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ability to perform physical and exertional tasks and meeting other essential position requirements including social and physical environmental factors. Position may require occasional travel (domestic and/or foreign). Flexibility in working hours including ability to work day, evening and night rotating shifts, daily overtime, weekends, and holidays.
