Job Description

Position Overview:
Provide grease interceptor maintenance and used cooking oil collection from various locations.
Main Responsibilities:
Operate a vacuum tank unit mounted on a truck. Maintain customer grease interceptor as directed. Perform light plumbing modifications and repairs. Able to use a snake, or jetting mechanism to clear obstructions in plumbing lines Core sampling, light mechanical trouble shooting, equipment delivery Daily maintenance of equipment as instructed. Handle multiple lengths of suction hoses. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Key Requirements:
Education :
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Experience and Competencies:
Able to drive and operate a vacuum truck. Physically fit to remove manhole covers from grease interceptors. Understand basic operation of grease interceptors and proper servicing techniques. Ability to locate grease trap in a timely manner. Ability to tolerate fumes from grease traps. Independent, self-starting, accountable professional with a demonstrated sense of urgency, integrity and adaptability.
License and Certifications:
Valid Hawaii driver's license, CDL preferred. Medical Examiner's Clearance Certificate. Tanker Endorsement required.
Physical Demands:
Ability to talk and hear frequently as job involves daily oral communication. Ability to sit on air ride seat while driving. Ability to sit, stand, twist, reach, walk, and climb stairs. Ability to climb in and out of truck between stops. Ability to climb on top of tank as needed. Ability to lift 60-pound manhole covers and baffles. Ability to operate and drag hoses on vacuum truck.
