Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Technician / Installer to join our team. We are willing to train the right person for a new career! The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and installation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of garage doors, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. We work (4) 10-hour days : enjoy 3 days off per week! Duties Install garage doors, including all necessary hardware and components. Perform glass installation for garage door windows as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks. Conduct heavy lifting of garage door components and materials. Carry out fabrication of custom door solutions when required. Provide locksmithing services for secure installations. Assist with remodeling projects involving garage doors or related structures. Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. Experience Candidates should have experience in the following areas: Construction site experience with a focus on installation tasks. Hand tool knowledge related to garage door systems. Previous maintenance person experience is a plus. Electrical experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
