As a Pool Maintenance Technician , you're not just ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness of hotel pools and spas - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Hilton Waikoloa Village is looking to hire a General Maintenance, Water Features (Pool Maintenance Technician). Hawaii Island's only 62-acre property with 1,240 guest rooms, 3 one of a kind outdoor swimming pools and 4-acres of protected lagoon. Come and join the team TODAY!
About the role:
Vacuum and clean pool surfaces to maintain a safe and inviting appearance. Spruce up pool areas by removing debris, organizing furnishings, and ensuring overall cleanliness. Sweep pool decks and surrounding areas to maintain a clean and guest-ready environment. Perform debris removal from pools, filtration areas, and surrounding grounds. Conduct general pool maintenance, including monitoring cleanliness and identifying maintenance needs. Check and empty skimmer baskets regularly to ensure proper pool operation and water circulation. Follow directions and assigned tasks from the Lead to support daily pool and facility operations. Adhere to safety procedures and company standards while performing all maintenance duties.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Maintain pool and spa cleanliness: Perform daily inspections and maintenance to ensure pools and spas are clear and water balance is properly maintained Keep equipment running smoothly: Inspect and verify that all pool equipment components are functioning correctly Manage inventory and supplies: Track pool maintenance supplies, prepare purchase requisitions, and coordinate with department managers for purchase approvals Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
