This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping spaces safe and welcoming, and can take initiative while managing a variety of maintenance and facility needs. No two days are the same. You'll help maintain our buildings, rental properties, and grounds while supporting a welcoming environment for staff, volunteers, and the individuals and families we serve. Mission-driven work that makes a difference in our community Supportive team environment that values collaboration and initiative Flexible scheduling Opportunity to contribute to the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of multiple Willis Dady properties In This Role, You Will Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections at Willis Dady facilities and properties, including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repairs. Maintain grounds and outdoor areas, including landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep. Respond to maintenance needs at Willis Dady rental properties and help ensure units are safe and ready for new tenants. Identify safety hazards, address maintenance concerns, and assist with emergency preparedness and preventative maintenance. Assist with room setup and breakdown for meetings, events, and agency activities. Assist with occasional custodial needs to help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming spaces. Monitor maintenance and cleaning supplies and communicate inventory needs. Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers while maintaining a professional and positive presence. Adhere to all agency and program guidelines, policies, procedures, and safety requirements, with the goal of advancing and fulfilling the agency's mission, vision, and values.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge or training in general maintenance and custodial duties Current driver's license, clean driving record, vehicle insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle for business use. Work-related mileage expenses will be reimbursed by Willis Dady. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects with changing priorities Ability to work a flexible schedule and occasionally respond to facility needs outside of regular business hours Ability to safely move objects up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions Strong communication skills and the ability to work respectfully with staff, volunteers, and individuals experiencing homelessness Commitment to Willis Dady's mission and agency values, including meeting people where they're at and acting with integrity

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of HVAC systems and routine HVAC maintenance Experience with basic electrical and plumbing repairs Experience performing preventative maintenance on mechanical or electrical systems
