This position is ideal for someone with experience in overhead door installation and service, or someone with mechanical/construction experience who is willing to learn the trade. What You'll Do Install, repair, and service residential and commercial overhead doors Troubleshoot door, spring, opener, and hardware issues Perform service calls and installations throughout the Cedar Rapids area Safely operate hand and power tools Communicate professionally with customers Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer specifications What We're Looking For Previous overhead door, garage door, construction, mechanical, or related experience is preferred A valid driver's license is required Ability to safely use hand and power tools Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team Good customer service and communication skills Schedule & Compensation 40-45 hours per week Pay based on experience No on-call requirement Company service truck and tools are provided while working Why Join King Construction?
