Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Overview We are on the lookout for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our equipment, systems, and infrastructure running smoothly. Whether you're troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, or supervising repair projects, your expertise will help ensure our operations stay efficient and safe. Key Accountabilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs and utilize computer programs Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency Minimum Qualifications Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship Must be 18 years or older Consistent 3+ years of maintenance experience or industrial maintenance schooling Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to communicate efficiently in English (read, write, and speak English) Math skills including but not limited to fractions/decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Computer literacy Understand the basic metric system Ability to work on weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications 5+ years previous maintenance experience Work history in the past 12 months Ability to work with a variety of hand tools Disclaimer to all recruitment agencies: Pitman Farms does not accept agency resumes.
