Near Clive We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated 1099 Contractor for deck staining, power washing, repairs, and full deck resurfacing. The Opportunity & Pay Breakdown You are paid a fixed rate per completed job. The more jobs your crew finishes each week, the higher your payout. Your gross earnings scale directly based on your team size and speed: Solo Operator (hard worker) : ~$1,600/week gross You + 1 Helper (Working ~40 hrs/wk): ~$2,800/week gross (helpers will be 500-800/wk) You + 2 Helpers (Working ~40 hrs/wk): ~ $4,000/week gross (helpers will be 500-800/wk each) (

Note:

As a 1099 contractor, you manage and pay your helpers directly out of your total job payout. Helper pay in this trade typically runs around $16/hr, leaving you with higher overall net profit as your crew's output increases.

Bonus:

We already work with experienced local helpers who are looking for more hours, so we can connect you with reliable crew members right away if needed).

What We Provide Fully Equipped Trailers:

Enclosed trailer loaded with commercial power washers, sanders, brushes, and application gear (used for staining jobs) and a flatbed trailer (used for repair/replacement jobs). Trailers stay at our shop over the weekend.

Material Expenses Covered:

You will pick up stain and materials at Sherwin-Williams or local suppliers, but you do not pay out-of-pocket for job materials. Responsibilities Hook up and haul the appropriate trailer from the shop to job sites daily. Complete 2-3 deck staining, repair, or resurfacing projects per week. Pick up required stain and hardware from local suppliers using company account. Work independently or manage 1-2 helpers to ensure fast, high-quality completion. Maintain clear communication and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

Requirements Vehicle:

Must have a reliable truck or SUV capable of towing enclosed and flatbed trailers.

Experience:

Proven background in deck staining, wood restoration, power washing, and basic carpentry/repairs.

Work Ethic:

Strong commitment to quality, high reliability, and an eye for detail.

Status:
