Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, equipment, and company vehicles. This role involves preventative maintenance, coordinating repairs, and collaborating with various departments and vendors. The position is based in Davenport, Iowa and operates on the first shift. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) through performance and documentation according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Perform competency testing as required. Notify the Director of Facilities of any non-compliance issues immediately, including SOPs or policies that do not align with current FDA or AABB requirements. Maintain and repair all sites, ensuring proper lighting, paint, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, furnishings, and generators are in excellent condition. Conduct routine maintenance and ensure all items are in good working order. Investigate facility issues, analyze problems, prepare reports and cost estimates, and recommend solutions. Provide emergency off-hour and weekend support, including emergency repairs and troubleshooting of facilities and equipment. Essential Skills Troubleshooting Electrical maintenance Preventive maintenance 1-2 years' experience in building, grounds, or fleet maintenance Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to travel 20% of the time Additional Skills & Qualifications Hand and power tool experience Soldering Experience with centrifuges Ticketing repairs Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $23.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
