• Iowa Position summary CharPower is hiring three Maintenance & Operations Technicians to support the safe and reliable operation of its biomass-processing facilities. The technicians will operate plant equipment, perform routine maintenance and help resolve issues that affect production. Key responsibilities
• Operate and monitor plant equipment according to established procedures.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Identify operational or mechanical issues and assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Support material handling and production activities as needed.
• Record operating data, maintenance work and equipment conditions accurately.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety, environmental and housekeeping requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in good condition. Qualifications
• Experience in industrial operations, plant maintenance, manufacturing or a related environment is preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to use common tools safely.
• Ability to follow operating procedures and safety instructions.
• Reliable, proactive and comfortable working as part of an operations team.
• Willingness to learn plant processes and maintenance practices.

The final hourly rate will reflect the candidate's experience, skills and performance during the evaluation process. Candidates with limited experience may enter near the lower end of the range, while stronger and more experienced profiles may qualify for the upper end.
