Job Description
Black Cat Wear Parts, DeWitt, IA facility, a global manufacturer of Quality Wear Parts for the construction, road maintenance and mining industries is currently accepting resumes for a Maintenance Technician. This is a 2nd shift position working 4-10 hour days, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am. Essential Job Functions Familiar with sawing, drilling, milling, and punching equipment and ability to trouble shoot/repair. Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Uses in-house and outsourced scheduling methodology Conducts analysis of project requirements Supports Black Cat's Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program Understands safety job planning requirements Working knowledge of various safety programs including lockout/tagout, fall protection, confined space, personal protective equipment Applies lean principles to achieve organizational results Applies expertise in designated area to support the business Applies best approach practices/principles Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED, able to lift 50 lbs., be a quick learner, safety and quality conscious, team oriented and thrives in a diversified work environment. Must have minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance experience.
