Floor Technicians - Great Opportunity, Will Train! Midwest Janitorial Service, Inc. is seeking dependable full-time Floor Technicians to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining both carpet and hard surface floors in a variety of facilities. We provide training, so motivated individuals are encouraged to apply! Key Responsibilities Scrub, strip, buff, refinish, and seal hard-surface floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals. Perform carpet cleaning using approved methods and products. Conduct spot cleaning of carpets as needed. Qualifications Knowledge of commercial carpeting and flooring care preferred, but training provided. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment a plus. Ability to operate floor care machinery safely and effectively. Team-oriented, dependable, and able to follow supervisory direction. Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs., pushing/pulling equipment, bending, squatting, crawling, and standing for the duration of shifts. Valid driver's license with a good driving record required. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends. Previous floor care experience is a plus, but not required. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $21 - $23/hour , based on experience PLUS a $2/hr. performance/attendance bonus Training and advancement opportunities.
