Job Title:
Maintenance TechnicianThe person is in charge of: Assembly Dept.
Maintenance RequirementsResponsibility:
- Assist Senior Maintenance Technicians in the performance of machine repair functions.
- Maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks for all dosage related equipment/systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance actions as assigned
- Maintain maintenance shop supplies, cleanliness and organization as directed
- Rebuild assigned equipment & parts as needed.
- Daily communication with management on maintenance actions/performance
- Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Ability to provide guidance and leadership to team and to production personnel
- Maintain Good Documentation Practices; complete necessary reports and checklists
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma/Technical School
- Perform Transactions in various electronic systems
- Excellent administrative skills
- Detail oriented
- Technical / Mechanical thought process
- Maintenance department experience is a plus
- Ability to learn specific technical processes
- Computer Skills Including Microsoft Office.
- Verbal Communication-Presentation Skills
- Solid problem solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement programs
- Self motivated/ ability to work independently on a regular basis to achieve daily/ weekly/ monthly/yearly tasks
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with heavier weights
- Must have appropriate vision to read schematics, prints, purchase orders, instructions, procedures, etc.
- Must be able to perform duties in limited spaces.
