This position is exempt from classified state service and the rules of the Division of Human Resources and the Idaho Personnel Commission. Applicants are encouraged to apply and submit their applications as soon as possible. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is seeking a Maintenance Technician. This position will be located at our Clearwater Regional Office located in Lewiston, ID. This position is a 5-month, non-benefited temporary position and will work 30-40 hours a week. Work schedules may include weekends and holidays. The work schedule is flexible but generally, this position will work three or four 10-hour days. The technician performs landscaping duties (mostly mowing and weed whacking), picks up garbage and cleans the restrooms at our sites. Why IDFG? Incumbents may work in all weather conditions and move in and around confined spaces. These positions are maintenance oriented. These positions involve lifting and carrying items weighing approximately 90 pounds, bending, stooping, shoveling, and climbing ladders. Work may be required in remote and rugged terrain.Responsibilities:
+ This position works as part of a several-person team to perform operations and maintenance of Department lands and facilities, primarily fishing and boating access sites.
