Our members expect clean courts and a facility that works. You'll be the person who makes that happen. The role We're hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to keep our Meridian and Nampa clubs in top shape. You'll handle most repairs yourself and manage outside contractors for the jobs that need a licensed specialist. You'll also keep our courts clean and safe for play. Work comes to you through our ticketing system, and you'll prioritize it, work through it and close it out. Your schedule will be mostly flexible. What you'll do Work through maintenance tickets at both locations, prioritizing by urgency and member impact Handle routine repairs: painting, drywall patching, door and hardware repair, light fixtures, basic plumbing (leaks, fixtures, clogs), basic electrical (switches, outlets, lighting) and basic HVAC upkeep (filters, thermostats, troubleshooting) Clean and maintain pickleball courts, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and checking nets, lines and court surfaces for wear or hazards Do routine preventive maintenance walk-throughs at both clubs Diagnose problems that are beyond your scope, get quotes from licensed contractors, schedule them, oversee the work and confirm it's done right Keep ticket notes current, including what you found, what you did, and what parts or follow-up are needed Track supplies and tools, and flag when we need to reorder Flag safety issues immediately What we're looking for 1+ years of hands-on maintenance, facilities, construction or handyman experience Working knowledge of general repair across several trades (painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC) Ability to tell when a job needs a licensed professional and to manage that contractor Comfort using a ticketing or work-order system and keeping written records Reliable transportation to travel between Meridian and Nampa Ability to lift 50 lbs, and to stand, kneel, climb ladders and work in varied conditions for a full shift Valid driver's license Availability to be on call for urgent issues Nice to have Trade certifications or licenses (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) or vocational training Experience in a recreation, fitness, hospitality or multi-site facility Experience with court, turf or flooring maintenance Pay and benefits $19-$24 per hour, depending on experience Health insurance Paid time off Holidays Free membership and employee discount Why join us We're a growing company, and this role matters because the clubs can't run well without it.
