The Maintenance Mechanic maintains equipment according to the Preventive Maintenance program, diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems and performs emergency and proactive repairs of buildings and grounds, production equipment and machinery while minimizing down time.Job Duties:
Knowledge of LOTO and SDS is requiredMaintain equipment according to Preventative Maintenance programRepair emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment and machinery minimizing downtimeMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety proceduresPerforms inspection of completed maintenance and documents resultsCompletes and maintains paperwork for maintenance performedAssists in other work areas as needed and directed by the department supervisorOperate Forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment as necessaryComply with all plant safety and environmental regulations and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environmentRead and follow QWI and other work instructions necessary to properly assembly productQualifications:
