$22.50 Per Hour BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician for a well-established apartment community in Arlington Heights, Illinois. If you have previous apartment maintenance experience, enjoy solving problems, take pride in your work, and are looking for a stable opportunity with a respected staffing partner, we want to hear from you! This position is ideal for a reliable maintenance professional who is comfortable handling day-to-day service requests, assisting with apartment turns, and helping maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community. First Day Start Time:

9:00 AM

Regular Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay

$22.50 per hour

Responsibilities

Complete residential service requests and work orders in a timely manner

Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs

Conduct basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting

Diagnose and address electrical maintenance issues

Troubleshoot and repair household appliances

Perform carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general upkeep

Assist with apartment turns and make-ready preparation

Help maintain the overall appearance and safety of the property

Work professionally with residents, property management, and team members

Qualifications

Previous apartment maintenance experience required

Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions and repair techniques

Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and carpentry work

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Reliable transportation required

Must provide and maintain your own tools

Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and materials as needed
