Job Description

OVERVIEW
Searching for a Maintenance Technician III with advanced experience supporting metal fabrication and CNC production equipment, specifically laser cutting systems, CNC punching machines, and press brake machines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC lasers, CNC punching machines, and press brakes Diagnosing complex issues across mechanical and electrical systems Leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs Minimizing downtime through root cause analysis and continuous improvement Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, PLC logic (basic), and technical manuals Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimization of fabrication equipment Serving as a senior technical resource on the production floor Requirements 5-8+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Direct, hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining metal fabrication equipment, including: Press Brakes CNC Laser Machines CNC Turret Press Equipment Combo Machines (laser/punch) Experience working with leading fabrication equipment brands such as: TRUMPF Amada Toyokoki Diamond Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex equipment issues independently, including root cause analysis Experience performing: Preventive maintenance (PMs) Diagnostics and troubleshooting Emergency/breakdown repairs on production equipment Ability to read and interpret: Electrical schematics Blueprints Maintenance manuals and technical documentation Proficiency using: Diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment Hand tools and power tools Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic computer skills for CMMS/maintenance tracking systems and documentation
EDUCATION
Associate/Technical degree in related field preferred

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
