Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety within our facilities. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for supervising maintenance activities and leading projects that require fabrication and welding skills. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. Utilize logic controllers for system diagnostics and repairs. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure equipment functionality. Supervise maintenance staff during projects to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and recommend solutions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Use tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to operations. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is required. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. Experience in welding and fabrication is preferred but not mandatory. Leadership skills with experience supervising teams or projects is a plus. Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and management is essential.
