THE ROLE
Join an established, industry-leading direct mail and print manufacturer and keep its high-speed mail production floor running. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain inserting and finishing equipment — diagnosing issues fast, minimizing downtime, and owning preventive maintenance alongside a strong team. YOU'LL BE A FIT IF YOU'VE WORKED HANDS-ON WITH EQUIPMENT LIKE
BlueCrest Epic, MPS, APS, MSDP, Flowmaster, MSE, Bell & Howell, Kirk-Rudy, or Pitney Bowes — or similar high-speed inserting, sorting, or lettershop systems, including inline inkjet (e.g., Harrier).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform preventive, proactive, and emergency maintenance on high-speed inserting, mailing, and finishing equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Handle equipment set-up, changeovers, and vision/camera calibration Work within a structured preventive-maintenance program to keep uptime high
WHAT YOU NEED
Hands-on maintenance experience on high-speed mail, print, or packaging production equipment (not building/facilities maintenance) Strong electromechanical troubleshooting — you diagnose root causes, not just swap parts Comfort on production control screens and basic PC use Able to work the 12-hour rotating shift, stand/walk up to 12 hours, and lift up to 50 lbs Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a federal-contractor background check English required; Spanish a plus This is a hands-on, on-the-floor role with a stable employer that invests in its maintenance team — steady schedule, strong benefits, real job security.
