Duties Conduct regular pool maintenance including cleaning, skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces to ensure pristine conditions. Monitor and adjust pool chemistry by balancing water pH, alkalinity, chlorine levels, and other chemical agents to maintain safe water quality. Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and circulation systems using hand tools and power tools. Manage pool plumbing systems to ensure proper water flow and identify potential issues before they escalate. Handle water treatment chemicals safely, following all safety protocols and handling procedures to prevent hazards. Perform routine inspections of aquatic facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns; document findings accurately. Operate company vehicles responsibly when traveling between job sites or transporting equipment. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical usage, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment efficiently. Experience with pool plumbing systems and water treatment chemical handling. Knowledge of pool chemistry balancing techniques to ensure safe swimming conditions. Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about pool conditions or service needs. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a proactive approach to safety and maintenance standards. Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to all safety regulations. Familiarity with aquatic facility operations or previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
