Job Description
Bostik - Calumet City is now hiring for Maintenance Mechanic! (Starting wage $43.41 with an annual bonus potential of 4%)

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be an individual contributor working in a fast-paced environment performing various duties such as operation and maintenance of plant utilities including boilers, treatment ponds, chillers, cooling towers, and air compressors. The successful candidate will safely perform routine maintenance activities on process equipment including pumps, agitators, and valves. Additional duties include the operation of forklifts to move materials and supplies in the plant, to maintain their work areas and to report accurate inventories and supplies to management for efficient cost control
Must be able to complete work orders in the maintenance database system and ability to complete computer-based training. Strong work history that demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude.
Good communication skillsSelf-motivated, positive attitude, and team playerMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred 3 years of previous maintenance/mechanical experience is preferred in a PSM-regulated environment.
Safe driving experience, with fork-lift certificationOne year certificate from a college, technical school or equivalent experience and training.3 years experience with working with hazardous and flammable chemicals.
