Job Description

We are recruiting for Maintenance Technicians on PM shift at a food and beverage manufacturer. This is a state-of-the-art, SQF Level III-certified facility with advanced automation supporting shelf-stable beverages, dips, sauces, and aerosol cheese products. What you'll do: Support the Preventive Maintenance program to reduce unscheduled downtime Troubleshoot equipment issues and interpret technical information to make repairs Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and validate repairs Follow safety procedures including Lock-out/Tag-out, GMPs, and OSHA standards Complete assigned work orders on time and maintain detailed records Assist with equipment changeovers and line startups Identify required parts and maintain inventory and reorder lists Support facility utility systems: steam boilers, water chillers, cooling towers, well pumps, and HVAC Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team projects What you need: Technical training in a maintenance-related field, or 3+ years of industrial equipment maintenance experience Strong mechanical background: bearings, seals, gaskets, gearboxes, sprockets/chains, belts, clutches, brakes Boiler, chiller, or HVAC training preferred Compressed air systems, basic plumbing/piping, and hydraulics experience a strong plus Comfortable with basic computer skills to process work orders Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and technical drawings in English Willing to work shift schedules plus overtime, including weekends and holidays Food manufacturing experience preferred
Schedule:
PM shift, 6pm-6am, 2-2-3 rotation. $2.00 shift differential.
Pay:
$30.00 - $36.00 per hour
