A G Smart Garage | Deerfield, IL (North Shore / Chicagoland) This is a real trade career — not a dead-end hourly job. No garage-door experience needed. We'll teach you the technical skills; you bring the character.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
During training you'll learn alongside experienced technicians in the field. After certification you'll run your own service calls:- Diagnose and repair garage doors, openers, springs, and smart systems
- Install new garage doors and openers
- Present options to homeowners and explain what they need — and why
- Deliver a premium experience from the moment you pull up
- Collect payment and keep accurate service records
WHAT YOU NEED
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools
- Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and work on ladders
- Clear communication with customers in English
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Available for a rotation that includes some weekends, holidays, and evenings
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- Above all: a genuinely nice person, a team player, and humble
