The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting safe plant operations. Ideal candidates have food industry experience, are strong problem-solvers, and can work independently. ️
Qualifications & Skills:
4+ years of experience in industrial plant maintenance (food industry preferred) OR currently pursuing a 2-year trades degree with hands-on maintenance exposure High school diploma or GED required strong understanding of 3-phase motor controls, AC/DC drives, and PLC-based systems Welding and fabrication experience highly preferred bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with minimal supervision Able to lift/move up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods Must be flexible to work weekends or extended hours as needed
Work Environment:
Food manufacturing environment with variable temperatures (hot or refrigerated) Exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and production noise PPE required: eye, ear, and hand protection Team-based setting that values safety, accountability, and respect
