We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team as a 1099 contractor. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to perform comprehensive maintenance, repair, and operational tasks across various facilities. As a key contributor, you will ensure that all building systems and equipment operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Your expertise will help maintain an optimal environment for our operations while demonstrating your mechanical skills in a fast paced environment. This position is ideal for motivated professionals who thrive on problem-solving and delivering top-notch maintenance solutions. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Light electrical tasks Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality. Use hand tools and electrical testing devices to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective repairs promptly. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities and document work performed thoroughly for record-keeping purposes. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO). Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting electrical equipment repair Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as general building interior maintenance tasks such as painting and carpentry. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, and other instruments essential for accurate repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English Leadership qualities to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
