Lillibridge manages more than 22 million square feet of outpatient medical space across 36 states, providing prime medical office spaces to health systems and physicians seeking to expand their reach and deliver value to their communities. About the Role The Maintenance Technician Trainee is responsible for supporting the maintenance and upkeep of twelve (12) properties throughout the Chicagoland area. This role will also ensure efficient operations and client/tenant satisfaction, and general property maintenance and repairs. This is a growth-oriented role designed to develop technical skills through hands-on experience, job shadowing, formal training, and practical application alongside the onsite engineering team. This role plays a key part in maintaining the reliability and performance of our buildings, creating safe, functional environments for tenants, clients, and patients. Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Assist in completing work orders related to physical maintenance and repairs of assigned buildings using work order software systems Support routine physical improvements to the property Respond to emergencies in accordance with departmental protocols Assist the Building and Engineering team in maintaining equipment, tools, supplies, stock inventories, and logs Communicate building status and changes effectively to appropriate individuals Adhere to all safety standards, policies and procedures, codes of conduct, and industry best practices Act professionally and courteously at all times with tenants, hospital clients, co-workers, vendors, and patients Use materials, supplies, tools, and building property safely and efficiently Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Customer service experience preferred Must be located in Downers Grove, IL area and/or willing to travel via vehicle to multiple locations throughout the Chicagoland area. Must be in office (onsite) 5 days a week Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, and perform extensive walking Basic computer skills and comfort using maintenance or work order software Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the future Why Choose Lillibridge Competitive pay and performance-based incentives 90% employer-covered health insurance 401(k) with company match 20 days of PTO to start + 11 paid holidays Stable, long-term career growth with a trusted national leader The estimated base salary range for this position is $24-$29/hour ( $50,000 - $60,320) per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the base salary Ventas reasonably expects to pay at the time of posting. Actual base pay will be determined based on work location, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and business needs. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and other wellness benefits under applicable plan terms.
