Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The hours for this shift are Monday through Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30 am (10 hour shift) with additional overtime (up to 8 hours) scheduled on Fridays when needed. There is an additional $3 differential paid for working on 2nd shift. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of machinery and systems, supporting our commitment to quality and efficiency. Duties Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting guides Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues utilizing tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments Troubleshoot pneumatic systems, hydraulics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical systems to identify root causes of failures Conduct repairs on equipment including welding, electrical components, hydraulic systems, and mechanical assemblies Operate forklifts and other industrial machinery safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance activities Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities
Must Haves:
Need own tools and need to be able to work independently as a self-starter Minimum Electrical experience is DC and 3-Phase (480 volts) Proven experience trouble shooting drives and PLCs Proven experience in hydraulics Fork lifts and powered industrial truck repairs/PMs is a must 3 years of prior Industrial Maintenance experience Steady work history and attendance history Good to
